This grand floor clock case (92" Tall) is Crafted of American natural SOLID CHERRY wood, finished in a warm brown heirloom stain. This Americana Atlanta Clock has 8 Hand applied layered coats of genuine lacquer, individually rubbed creating a French Polished finish. OVER 16 hours of hand labor go into each finished work of craftsmanship, The matched Flame Crotch Mahogany veneer is carried over to the full side crown returns as well as the base, and lower sides, which accent the SOLID cherry wood case. The bold leaf carving below the finial seat is solid Cherry. This Americana Atlanta Grandfather Clock masterpiece has six full 1 inch beveled glass pieces. The lower front door, dial door, sides and hinged movement access doors. The finial adds a classic look. The Great Grandfather clock size dial with a subsidiary second's hand is framed in solid cherry and has large raised castings in the center and corners. The numerals are solid brass and individually milled from a 1.5 mm thick brass plate then beveled and blacked on the surface for easy viewing. The 270 mm (10 5/8" diameter) Lyre pendulum carries a matching raised cast design element as well. The German crafted triple chime cable movement plays 4/4 Westminster, Whittington or St Michael's chimes with the traditional separate hour count. Auto night silence feature included, and the rotating blue moon dial has milled brass lunar numerals.
